ERF plans a digital radio and television channel for 2009
Evangeliums-Rundfunk (ERF) in Wetzlar will be strengthening the network of its radio, television and internet ministries in the future. The goal is to make these ministries better known and have a clear profile. ERF’s director, Jürgen Werth, made this announcement during a special meeting of the General Assembly in December. The motto “ERF Good News” was expanded upon through the sentence “One life, One station.” Werth stated: “ERF will continue to use all available technical possibilities and channels to reach out to people and enrich their spiritual lives.”

Werth also announced that an additional radio program on the internet for the 30-50 year old audience is planned to begin next year.
ERF’s internet service, which currently runs partly under the name CINA, will be more readily recognized as a ministry of ERF in the future. The continual expansion of its target special services will continue. Over 6,7 million visits were made to the various internet sites during 2007. There were over 2,7 million radio streams and about 1,1 million video streams. ERF started broadcasting its TV program on the internet last May at www.erftv.de.
